It’s already almost the end of January and here I am finally updating our website. So much to tell, where do I begin? Firstly want to wish everyone a belated happy new year! Hope this year is fun, prosperous and enjoyable for all!!

What’s new? Well, we went to San Diego for Christmas and had a great time with Mary’s family. Too short of a trip though … someday Mary will get enough time off around the holidays to enjoy it. Mike celebrated his 27th birthday on December 30th as did Mary on January 7th. Mike received a poker table and nice chips for Christmas and so we rang in the new year, Texas Hold’em style!

Mike got his new Ranger boat, photos under the Christmas album. I’ll post better ones when there’s decent sunlight to take them. The boat certificate finally sold!! Now he can afford to fish this year! =0)

Our new house building project has been temporarily shelved. We had to back out of the land we offered on back in August because it was too difficult to build on. Our budget was increasing significantly and so we couldn’t get the financing for it. We’re selling our current house and plan to rent while we research other options (i.e. another peice of FLAT land or a new house.) We’re not giving up just yet!!
