I’m really trying to get better at updating the site, I swear! Life just happens way too fast! We pretty much settled into the house. Still have some work to finish (a homeowner’s job is never done!) Overall we love our house, very comfortable. Two recent visitors separately said it feels more homey than our last house. I take that as a compliment!

Just got back from Maui a few weeks ago. Mike’s dad and stepmom paid for us to go along with the other siblings. We just love that island and are counting the days till we can go back! (Pictures pending . . . )

Mike just fished the Bassmaster’s Citgo Open at Clearlake and won second place!!!!!!!!! He got another boat (that’s two this year) plus cash. He was the leader for the second day and it was quite amazing to see his name up on ESPN’s website. We are very proud of him!! (More pending pictures . . .) Oh yeah, he also passed his state contractor’s license test and is now a licensed contractor. Quite the adventurous one, isn’t he?

Mary’s little brother and his friend, Brian, just closed on their new condo in San Diego. Very exciting for two early 20’s bachelor men to partake on such an investment. We’re very excited for them.
