I just got back from the doctors. Everything sounded great! Heartbeat strong at 158 bpm. Mike wasn’t there to hear it though. We go back on 12/3 to see the baby and find out if it’s a girl or boy! We’re really excited.

I’m taking the next month off work for stress leave. It’s been pretty rough these past few months and a crazy year between the two surgeries, I need a break to focus on me and the house. I’ll be returning tenatively 12/4. Other wise I’m not nauseated anymore. Very tired with headaches and insomnia. The doctor said that’s from the stress not the pregnancy.

Finally out of the 1st trimester and feeling better with each day. Nasuea is much less frequent now and the energy levels are picking up. I finally announced it to work and friends and resided to wearing less baggy clothes. I posted a couple baby bump shots. There really isn’t a whole lot to see but BT is in there. I go back to the doctor on 11/01 for a check up. Then in December we should find out the sex! Once Mike gets done with tournaments in mid-November, we will be working on the nursery to get it ready as he will busy most of the time leading up to the birth.

Went to the doctor today and he tried to listen for the heartbeat with the doopler but my heart was beating so hard, we couldn’t hear BT’s heartbeat. So I got another sonogram!! This one was a reguler external sonogram and BT looks great! They were moving around and would look at me. I could see the eyes and the nose and mouth … it was amazing! Heartbeat looks good as well! I posted a couple of the sonograms.

Nausea is finally subsiding and my energy is coming back. I’ll be hitting the gym here pretty soon. Surprisingly I’ve only gained 1.8 lbs in the last 4 weeks. I feel so much larger and chunkier but I guess it’s all baby.
