The crib came in last week and Daddy came home yesterday so we went and picked it up today. We put it together this evening and it looks so beautiful. All it needs is the mattress and bedding to make it complete!

I had my doctor’s appointment yesterday and it was very short as all went well. I gained 2 lbs in 3 weeks (yeah!) and now total 18 lbs in weight gain. Very good! Blood pressure still good and BT’s heartbeat was strong at 150bpm. I go back in 2 weeks on March 6th. We started chatting about when I will go out from work and he said just to let him know and he’ll write my note. I get up to 4 weeks prior thru my disability insurance so I’ll most likely take that time off starting around March 27th.

Other good news is the store called yesterday to say the crib has arrived! Daddy is gone until this weekend so we’ll pick it up early next week!

So my lady friends came over yesterday and painted the nursery for us! It’s beautiful now! It looks like a nursery now with it’s pastel color (see photos) Now Daddy just needs to put the shelves in the closet and we’ll get the crib and it’ll be all ready for our little one. 9 more weeks to go! Wow!

An observation that I’d like to share. I can tell when BT grows. She’s usually quite active but every week or so she’ll quiet down for a couple days and then the days following I’m aching as I stretch to accommadate her new size and I am constantly hungry. She was quiet over the weekend and today I’m sore and starving! I can’t seem to eat enough!

What a whirlwind weekend that started on Thursday! My work threw me a shower and we got a ton of stuff. Lots of clothes to say the least, the bathing stuff (tub/shampoo/wash) blankets, toys, etc. It was so sweet! I left for San Diego that night while Mike was fishing a tournament in Texas. On Saturday, my best friend, mother and sister in law surprised me with a baby shower at Aunt Gaile’s house. It was quite shocking! It was so great to see everyone and we got even more needed clothes, bathing stuff and blankets. Uncle John and Aunt Jess got BT her bouncy seat. I had to borrow large suitcase from Grandma Crean to chug all this stuff home! It was so neat to see Alex and her growing belly as well! Keira was so cute as she kept saying baby as she’d point to my belly and she’d kiss the baby as well.

I got home today and went through all of the stuff and started organizing. We need to get the closet shelves done but we’re getting closer to getting settled in. The crib should be here next month!
